Sheffield Youth Football Development Centre Moon Island Football Complex, South Yorkshire, England
To address England's unpredictable climate, we engineered three all-weather training facilities at Sheffield's Moon Island Complex - featuring two 7-a-side pitches and one 5-a-side pitch under 9,495m² of custom tensile structures.

Utilizing aerospace-grade aluminum frameworks with marine-grade anti-corrosion treatments, these semi-permanent installations withstand 100km/h Yorkshire gales while resisting humidity-driven degradation.
The dual-layer PVC roofing system combines forest-green UV-resistant outer membranes (EN 13501 fire-certified) with semi-transparent inner panels that provide optimal daylighting - reducing energy costs by 65% while eliminating glare for players.
Engineered for rapid deployment, the entire complex was operational within 48 hours using patented modular connectors, featuring critical climate adaptations: 3° roof slopes prevent snow accumulation, acoustic fabrics dampen crowd noise during competitive matches, and thermal-break junctions eliminate cold bridging.
Since completion, Sheffield United FC's academy reports a 340% increase in winter training capacity, with coaches praising the "professional-grade consistency of playing conditions regardless of horizontal rain."
